About Me

Video Editor. Storyteller. Multi-Media Maker.

I started out with a passion for story telling. When I would listen to someone's story I would get an idea and image of what they were talking about. I first studied Film Studies and English in University where I learned about the use of images and techniques to convey a story and impact an audience. I then studied Television Broadcasting to do this as a daily job. I've also complimented my skills by taking courses in Interactive Multi-Media to be able to broadcast to more than one medium.

I've worked for some great companies; TWN, CBC, CTV, Army Multimedia, and Accessible Media Inc. I've also worked on an offline edit of a film shot with the Red Camera in 4k by Digital Canaries.

Today I am set up with Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve out of my home, ready to edit high-quality long and short format documentary and fiction film projects.

Let's talk about your project and what your needs are.

Video Editing Timeline

"Liz is an all-round professional video editor who has excellent technical skills, superior creative judgments and a daily network news attitude towards deadlines and productivity. That is to say she can do lots, fast and well. She can edit daily spot news reports, work on a feature documentary, edit promos and prepare b-roll packs all in a single workday. She's a team player who gets along well with everyone, manages her time very efficiently and never has to be told a second time what's required to get the job done. I would not hesitate to hire her again should the opportunity present itself."
